Windows 7 Install from USB key

Information:

This is a small and simple tutorial that will help us to install Windows 7 from a USB key, this method also serves to Windows Vista and XP, but the OS is needed to prepare the USB key is the Windows Vista and XP that uses the command does not recognize USB keys. Process:

1.- Formatear el dispositivo USB: Para esto, en el menú ejecutar de Windows, tecleamos CMD.EXE . Esto nos abrirá una ventana e MS-dos. 





2.- Una vez en la ventana de MS-DOS, tecleamos: 

Diskpar t: Aplicación de Windows para crear particiones. 
list disk : Este comando, nos lista los dispositivos de almacenamiento conectados al PC. 


Comprobamos con el tamaño que nos muestra el listado de discos, que número de disco corresponde a nuestro Pendrive (en mi caso es Disk 5). 

3.- Una vez que nos hemos asegurado de que las acciones a realizar afectarán sólo a nuestro dispositivo USB, tecleamos: 
Select Disk : Aquí seleccionamos el número de disco. 


4.- Tecleamos lo siguiente para eliminar el contenido del dispositivo USB: 
Clean : Esta comando serves to remove content from Pendrive.

5 .- Once empty the Pendrive, create a partition by typing:
create partition primary : Create the partition.
select partition 1 : Select the created partition.
format fs = fat32 : Format the partition with FAT32 file system.

fs = fat32 quick format: Format the partition with file system Quick FAT32.

assing : Type the command followed by the name we give to the partition.

exit command to quit Diskpart.

COPY OF WINDOWS 7 IN PENDRIVE:

Once ready

our Pendrive (USB), we need to copy the disk image of Windows Operating System 7 to USB stick. To do this, since MS-DOS window, type:
xcopy d: \\ *.* / s / e / fe: \\

USB DEVICE SELECTION IN THE START OF THE PC:

for us to install Windows 7 from a USB, you must tell the computer that prioritizes reading data of our USB before the hard disk. To do this:

1 .- In Pendrive connected to the computer, reset it.

2 .- At the beginning of test hardware, press Delete key to enter the BIOS.

3 .- We go to BOOT, and select USB as the first unit.

4 .- Save changes and exit.
